Elk City, OK --- Wendell Lee Tucker, 77, passed away at home with loved ones on August 19th, 2025. He was born February 15, 1948, in Lamar, CO.

He is survived by his wife, Sally (Smith); sister, Judy: children Wade (Tammy), Ward (Elizabeth), Jennifer (Aaron), Robin (Dan), and Dylan (Oriana); ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Tucker lived and worked in Kansas, Nebraska, Tennessee, Colorado, Arizona, and Oklahoma. Over the years, he was a farmer, business owner, investment adviser, jeweler, home builder and contractor.

Outside of work, Wendell's passions were many. He loved the smell of fresh-cut wood in his workshop, the pages of a good book, driving or looking at cars, a hike in the mountains with Sally, and the fellowship of Bible study shared among friends. Those who knew him best will remember his sharp mind, quick wit, and the steady love he held for his family.

A memorial service celebrating Wendell's life will be held in Colorado in the Spring of 2026, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory in the place he loved.
