Warren Douglas (W.D.) Lillard was born on August 4th, 1945 in California. He passed on June 8, 2024 at his home in Foss, OK at the age of 78 years, 10 months, and 4 days.

W.D. was raised by his grandparents and uncle in Martha, OK. He attended Martha High School and graduated with the class of 1963. After high school, W.D. worked at the NBC bank in Altus serving as Vice President. While working in Altus he obtained an Associates Degree in Banking at OU and OSU. He moved to Sayre, OK were he became the president of City National Bank. After City National Bank closed, the FDIC hired him to audit other banks and resolve their problems. On September 18, 1995, WD. married Katherine Gibson Lillard in Elk City, OK and to this union he gained two children Rhonda and Jackie. They made their home in Elk City, OK. W.D. owned and operated the pawn shop Elk City Pawn until 2003. In 2003, Katherine and W.D. moved to Foss Lake. He began his trade in gun smithing and operated the gun shop Dubs Gun and Tackle until his death.

W.D. enjoyed fishing and cooking. He was known for his cooking and everyone always came over to eat his cooking. He loved tinkering with his guns and shooting them. He was a member of the United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA), where he participated in many gun shooting competitions. He enjoyed doing gun shows and made many friends there.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents and uncle.

He is survived by his wife of the home Katherine Gibson Lillard; children Rhonda Clark and husband Gary of Childress, TX and Jackie Costello and husband Steve of Elk City, OK; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren; honorary son Kelly R Kilhoffer and wife Teresa of Elk City, OK; sisters-in-law Paula Gibson Sims and husband Paul of Fultondale, Alabama and Patricia Gibson Migliaccio of Cookson, Oklahoma; extended family and a host of friends.
