Wanda Lee Harris entered into the presence of the Lord on February 17, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was the devoted and loving wife of Daniel Keith Harris.

Wanda was born on January 19, 1949, in New Cumberland, West Virginia. She married the love of her life, Daniel, on May 20, 1967, in Newell, West Virginia, beginning a marriage that spanned nearly six decades. Together they built a life rooted in faith, love, and unwavering commitment.

Wanda dedicated her life to her family, raising her children—Terrieny, Alecia, and Daniel Paul—with steadfast devotion. As a military wife, she embraced a life that took her family to many places, yet wherever they lived, Wanda made every house a warm and welcoming home. She had a special love for hummingbirds, gardening, and cooking, and she found her greatest joy in gathering her family around the table. Those who knew her will forever remember her delicious meals, homemade treats, and the comfort of her kitchen.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Jane Frye, her beloved daughter, Alecia Kay Grimaldo, and her nephew Dalton Frye.

Wanda is survived by her cherished husband, Daniel Keith Harris; her daughter, Terrieny Hargrove and her partner, Richard Johnson; her son, Daniel Paul Harris; her grandchildren, Kayla Whalen (and her husband and children), Ashley Hix (and her husband and children), Kylie Bryant (and her husband and children), Brandon Hargrove, Samuel Hargrove, Bryce Grimaldo, Layton Harris, Zackary Harris, and Audry Harris; as well as her siblings, Jack Frye, Darlene D'Agostino, Norma Carson, and Joe Frye; her son-in-law Gabrial Grimaldo; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Wanda was forgiving, compassionate, and always ready to help anyone in need. She fought fiercely for those she loved and welcomed everyone to her table for conversation and something sweet. She loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor. Though she has left this earthly home, her kindness, selflessness, strength, and enduring love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
