Virginia Ann Tatum was born April 3rd, 1941 in Clinton, Oklahoma and was the only child of Noma (Miller) and Jim McCullough. She passed away Saturday, August 2nd, 2025 in Hydro, Oklahoma at the age of 84 years, 3 months and 30 days.
Virginia, known by most as "Ginger", grew up in Stafford and Butler, Oklahoma attending school in Butler graduating in 1958. After graduation she furthered her education at Texas Tech University and began her family with the birth of Jimi, Jacque, Terri, and Tab. While Ginger held various jobs over the years, she spent the later years as a manager for the Anderson family at Esquire Cleaners in Elk City, Oklahoma. During this time she was also a member of the Hammon Church of Christ. Ginger always enjoyed watching sports including bull riding and the Oklahoma City Thunder basketball. She also enjoyed being creative in her painting and always loved to read. Ginger's greatest joy was spending time with her family and especially times spent with her grandchildren sleep-overs that included games, movies, and candy buffets.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Ginger is survived by her 4 children, Jimi Robinson, Hydro, OK, Jacque Pearce and husband, Mitchell, Farmington, AR, Terri Allen and husband, Rex, Hammon, OK, and Tab Tatum and wife, Amy, Tuttle, OK; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
