Valerie Lyn "Wells" Poor was born June 26th 1964 and passed away Wednesday, May 7th, 2025 at home in Burns Flat, OK surrounded by loved ones.

Valerie was raised around the area of Eakly, OK. This is then around when Valerie met Roger and they married on July 27th, 1981. Through out her years she mainly tended to her home, children and family. Valerie was known for her home cooked meals, they were the best if you asked her grandchildren (Jake). She loved spending time with her family, Val was big on "sister time", you would never see her without one of her many sisters. Valerie loved going to the casino, ask anyone that knew her and we cannot forget about her legendary Facebook posts. Val's laugh was contagious, smile warm and heart big. Most importantly Valerie loved her grandchildren, nieces and nephews and was beyond proud of each of them.

Valerie is survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Roger Poor, parents Paul and Esther Lovelace and grandson Chase Gene Poor.

Valerie loved everyone beyond measure, she will forever be loved and missed. Until we see you again Grandma, Grams, Val Val, Sis, Aunt Val. Enjoy a Mountain Dew for us!
