Tracil Dee Lemley, 77, of Sayre, OK passed away on March 10, 2023 at Roger Mills Memorial Hospital in Cheyenne, Oklahoma.
Tracil was born on September 28, 1945 to Felix and Irene Ellen Lemley in Kearney, Nebraska. He entered the United States Marines and served his country during the Vietnam War as a Corporal. He received the Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Expert Rifleman, Expert Pistol, and two service stripes. After his discharge he moved to Mulberry, Arkansas where he continued working as a heavy equipment operator working on roads and bridges. Tracil moved to Elk City in 1980 and was married to Patricia (Abrams) on September 2, 1981, in Wheeler, Texas. They made their home in Sayre and they enjoyed going on working vacations. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his children and grand children. He loved playing his guitar, singing and telling tales to his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son, David Lemley, and 1 sister, Lavenna.
He is survived by his wife Pattie of the home, 6 daughters, Rebecca Albert, Juneau, AK, Samantha Lemley, Rogers, AR, Elizabeth Vines, Eldorado, AR, Abigail Lemley, Ft. Smith, AR, Cindy Marshall, Sayre, OK and Candy Ferris, Elk City, OK, 2 Sons, Joseph Lemley, Ft. Smith, AR, Clayton Lemley, Greenwood, AR, 1 Sister, Anna Hackett, Washington, 1 Brother, Rod Lemley, Washington, 11 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren
