Tracie Ann Rippetoe was born December 28th, 1968 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Claudette (Knight) and Norman LeRoy Trout. She passed away at her home in Sayre, Oklahoma on Saturday, March 1st, 2025 at the age of 56 years, 2 months and 1 day.

Tracie grew up in the Sayre community where she attended school. During her junior year of high school she was married to Kelly Rippetoe on February 5th, 1986 in Wheeler, Texas. Together they began their family with the birth of her son in 1986. Tracie graduated in 1987 and found employment at various places all while growing her family with the birth of their daughter in 1987 and later another daughter in 1992. In the mid to late 1990's she found employment with the Sayre Public School System where she was one of the Headstart Teachers until 2006 when her health forced her retirement. Tracie continued to care for her family through odd jobs and enjoyed shopping online, watching her TV shows, running errands with Roxie, and spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death her parents; one brother, Scott Trout; one sister, Gwen Davis; and grandmother, Lucile Knight.

Tracie is survived by her 3 children Jon Rippetoe and wife, Kandice, Carter, OK, Crystal Hurley and husband, Charles, Texas, and Natasha Sanders and husband, James, Sayre, OK; 7 grandchildren, Zander, Dalyn, Brylee, Wesley, Jaycie, Elijah and Timberlyn and a host of other family and friends.
