Frank Anthony (Tony) Lopez passed away at home in Erick, Oklahoma October 17, 2026. Tony was 65 years old.
Born in 1960 in Chicopee Falls MA, Tony grew up and lived in California, moving to Oklahoma in his forties. In Oklahoma, Tony became a self-declared cowboy (at least he liked to dress that way!) As a child, Tony loved baseball, playing in competitive leagues through high school. His love for the L.A. Dodgers was long standing and loyal. Later, Tony took up the game of golf and this became a passion for him. Tony never knew a stranger. His friendliness and sincerity allowed him to make friends easily and keep them through all the stages of his life. But what set Tony apart was his heart. When he loved, he loved deeply. If you wanted to see Tony’s eyes light up, you just needed to ask him about his children, grandchildren, or his dog “Bella”. He was a proud father to all of them. Tony’s legacy may very well be his ability to learn from his mistakes, and never stop trying to be a better human. He will be greatly missed by those who love him.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Lopez and Juanita Spencer; granddaughter, Karsyn Meeka and his beloved German Shepherd, Augie.
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Kem; 5 children, Melissa Meeka and husband, Darren, Nicholas Lopez and wife, Kaleena, Anthony Lopez and wife, Kaila, Alexandra Robledo and husband, Christopher, Jessica Hoffmann; grandchildren, Briley, Gaige, and Jordi Meeka, Bella, Brielle, Benjamin Anthony Lopez, Stella Rogers, Eve Lopez, Andrew Robledo and Camila Robledo; Kem's children, Amber Bussey and family, Tabitha Shinn and family, Kara Allen and family and Brandi Hay and family; 2 sisters, Lori Gundersen and husband, Steve and Joni Stewart and husband, Mike; 1 brother, Eric Lopez and wife, Jennete; special friend, Tony Angelo as well as many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In accordance with his wishes, no formal services will be held at this time.
The family plans to host a celebration of life in the near future, with details to follow.
