Tommy Moore, 57, of Erick, Oklahoma passed away on August 26, 2026.

Tommy was born on January 30, 1969, to Jimmy Moore and Barbara Kendrick in Yell County, Arkansas. He was raised in Russellville, Arkansas and remained in Arkansas until he later moved to Oklahoma where he met the love of his life, Jill.

Tommy was a beloved husband, father, pops, brother, friend, and so much more to the people who had the privilege of knowing him. He was the kind of man to leave an impression on everyone he met. To know Tommy was to know he lived life simply and honestly. He never needed much to be happy, and he never felt the need to be anyone other than himself. He was humble, hardworking, and genuine; and those who knew him best will always remember him for staying true to himself. His presence, stories, sense of humor, and the love he had for his friends and family will be deeply missed.

Perhaps what defined Tommy the most was what he believed in. He stood firmly by his convictions and was never afraid to remain true to them even when it wasn't the easiest thing to do. He loved God, his neighbor, and tried to live his life according to the values he held close to his heart. He had a way of making people feel seen and heard. He never left you feeling like you were unimportant or didn't matter. He had a way of learning about you and knowing you even when you didn't know yourself.

Tommy didn't seek recognition or attention. He was content to live a quiet, humble life surrounded by people and things he loved. He taught those around him, often without saying much at all, that a meaningful life doesn't have to be complicated. It can be built on faith, hard work, family, kindness, and simply being true to yourself. He cherished the time spent with the people he loved and created countless memories that his friends and family will carry around with them forever. Whether it was through a simple conversation, a good laugh, or just being together, Tommy understood that the greatest moments in life were the simplest ones.

Above all, Tommy loved his family. He cherished his wife and the life they built together. Their love, partnership, and devotion to one another were at the heart of his life. He was deeply proud of the family they created and grateful for the years they shared, the memories they made, and the home they built together. The love Tommy had for his wife and the life they shared will remain a lasting part of his legacy and live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved them.

Those who knew Tommy will remember a man who was unapologetically himself. A simple man with a golden heart, a hard worker, a man of strong convictions, a neighbor who cared about others, a man who loved God and his family deeply.

Tommy is survived by his beloved wife, Jill; his best friend, and faithful companion, Ruby Sue; his daughter, Gracey Davis, and husband, Jason Davis; His son, Jacob Stufflebean, and wife Natasha Stufflebean, and their children, Everett, Owen, and Stella; His daughter, Melanie Speed, and husband, Jared Speed and their children, Selena, and Jayden; His son Kenneth Moore, and wife, DeAnna Moore; his sons, Michael Moore and Jimmy Moore; his mother Barbara McVay and step-father Jimmy McVay; his sister Karen Harris and husband Charles Harris; his sister, Lola Grey; his sister Amanda Renard and husband, Toby Renard; and his brother, Randy Moore and wife, Maria Moore; Father and Mother-in-law, Jim and Suzanne Lee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, along with many extended family members and dear friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Moore; his stepfather, Lawrence Schembra; his grandson, Austin White; his grandparents, Ruby and Teddy Kendrick; and his grandparents, Juanita and Jim Fryer.

Though our hearts are broken by his passing, we take comfort in knowing that Tommy's work here is finished and he is now rejoicing with the Lord. His life may have been simple, but the impact he made on the people who loved him was anything but. You can rest now, Tommy. Your work here is done. You were loved more than words can say.
