Thomas James McRae was born November 3rd, 1952 in Kirkland, Washington to Delores (Labbs) and Ira James McRae. He passed away at his home in Sayre, Oklahoma on Sunday, March 2nd, 2025 at the age of 72 years, 3 months and 27 days.

Thomas, known by most as "Tom", spent the majority of his childhood in Oklahoma. After graduation, he obtained his CLEET certification and worked for the Choctaw and Putnam City Police Departments. At the age of 21 he enlisted in the United States Army where he served stateside and abroad. After his discharge he found his way back to Oklahoma and settled in Bethany, Oklahoma area where he worked odd jobs and mostly enjoyed working on cars at Carmichael's. Tom always enjoyed his time in law enforcement, fixing older cars, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Thomas Stampul; and his brother, Timothy McRae.

Tom is survived by his 2 daughters, Kristie Cyr and husband, Chris and Brenda McRae and husband, David Ballard, all of Henderson, NV; 1 daughter-in-law, Harley Netz, Sayre, OK; 6 grandchildren, Jayce, Riley, Barrett, Wyat, Emmett, and Maddison; brother, Ira James McRae, Jr., Bethany, OK; 2 nieces, Melissa McRae and Amanda Haskins; 1 nephew, Ira James McRae, III and a host of other relatives and friends.
