Tinette Cheryl Holmes was born April 6th, 1970 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Florence Ann (Mahl) and Willis Gene Berry. She passed away at her home in Elk City, Oklahoma on Monday, August 28th, 2023 at the age of 53 years, 4 months and 22 days.

Tinette grew up in Elk City, Oklahoma where she attended school graduating in May of 1988. She met and was eventually married to Christopher Wendell Holmes. In their 35 years together, they moved to Weatherford, Oklahoma, California, Oregon, and Texas before they returned to Elk City, Oklahoma in 1996. Tinette worked in the insurance industry as an insurance agent for the past 20 years. Tinette enjoyed painting, putting wigs on her dogs, drawing, making and passing out rosarys, singing, fishing, watching Bigfoot videos, camping, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and friends. She was passionate about, and cherished her traditional Catholic faith. She loved Jesus more than anything in the world.

She is preceded in death by her father, grandparents, Betty and Eugene Mahl, Atha Hogan, Dick Berry; and one brother-in-law, Scott Whitaker.

Tinette is survived by her husband, Chris, of the home; 3 children, Kya McGuire and husband, Justin, Canute, OK, Kelsi Dean and husband, John, Oklahoma City, OK, and Christopher Holmes and fiance` Karen Ingram, Elk City, OK; 10 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Braxton, Lyla, Drake, Mathias, Donna, Lydia, Marigold, Killian, and Madeleine; her mother, Florence Berry, Elk City, OK; 2 sisters, Amy Willyard and husband Shawn, and Debbie Whitaker; one aunt, Jeannie Riley and a host of other relatives and friends.
