Tess Ann Sugarman was born July 30, 1925 and passed away December 27, 2023, at age 98. She spent her last Christmas celebrating with her loving family on December 21 in Elk City.

Tess Ann was the surviving sibling of four daughters and two sons born to their parents, Claude and Elsie Perry, in Noel, Missouri. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Elk City, where she was active in women's events, and a member of Cultus Club for many years. She began her first job at age 13 in Noel as a telephone operator, then during many years was employed by Grubitz Furniture, Kelly Dairy, Carter (Humble) Oil as a draftsman and also as an optician at Southwest Clinic, where she worked alongside her husband, Dr. Milton J. Sugarman for many years preceding their retirement. In the following years, she and Dr. Sugarman spent many years traveling around the globe. She was a duplicate bridge player, and enjoyed oil painting, sewing, entertaining friends and family, and doting over her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Milton J. Sugarman, her parents, her first husband, Bruce Farmer, and her siblings.

Survivors include her daughter, Marsha Ann McComas and husband, Edwin, of Elk City; Three grandchildren: David (Angela) Woodman and his children, Hannah, Caleb, and Charlotte; Anna Woodman and her daughter, Elizabeth; and Michal (Jon) Lindblom and her children, Mason, Emerson, and Dutch. Survivors also include her step-daughters; Judy Sugarman Morgan and Virginia Alvarez; four nieces: Myrna, Anna, and Michele; and a nephew: Don Manning.

Her family wishes to thank the staff at Bell Avenue Nursing Center, Homestead Assisted Living, and Traditions Hospice for their loving care during the final year of her life.
