Teresa Glynn Burns was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on June 13, 1963. She lived in Carter, Oklahoma, and passed away on May 1, 2024, in Oklahoma City.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Willams Frazier of Greenville, TX; her father, Rufus Joseph Glynn of Morgan City, LA; her brother, Joseph Rene Glynn of Fort Worth, TX; and her two half sisters, Jeannie Lee Eva Valdez and Patricia Ann Clark both of Fort Worth, TX.

She leaves behind a loving sister, Angie of Monett, MO; a son, David Woodruff of Erick, OK; two daughters, Renee Rose of Elk City, OK and Lauran Larson of Norman, OK; a son-in-law, Zachary Larson; a bonus daughter, Danyell Burns-Gamble; seven grandchildren, Eliza, Theodore, Traydon, Kiree, Heavenly, Roy, and Averi; numerous loved nieces and nephews, too many to name; her lifelong best friend, Sheri Dixon; and many other loved friends and acquaintances throughout her life.

She grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. Her favorite hobby as a child was expressing her wonderful artistic abilities. As a teenager, she loved horses and developed a passion for barrel racing and local play days. During her adult life, Teresa loved country music and dancing. She also loved tending to her garden and pond, browsing Facebook Marketplace for unique finds, watching true crime, video calling her children and her sister, and having completely whacky conversations with them; she loved making people laugh, and if you embarrass easily, you might not want to take a trip with her because she would have fun with that. LOL.

As she became a mother and grandmother, her kids and grandchildren were her favorite things in life; she was so proud of each and every one of them. Her life's purpose was to teach them the things she wishes she had known so they could have a better life. Her sense of humor was unique, and her kids and anyone who knew her loved that about her. Her favorite snow cone was blue coconut, banana, lemon lime, and cream.

Teresa was truly one of a kind, with a big, loving heart, always helping those in need, and had a way of making your day brighter. She is irreplaceable and is already deeply missed by her loved ones.

Her celebration of life will be held on May 17, 2024, at the Foss Baptist Church at 2 p.m.

Officiating the service will be Michael Larson.
