Susan Marie Arnold was born May 27th, 1955 in Exeter, California to Bethine (Cox) and Jimmie Dale Banks. She passed away Saturday, November 16th, 2024 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 69 years, 5 months and 20 days.

Susan grew up in Visalia, California area where she attended school graduating from Mt. Whitney High School in 1974. During her high school years, she was the Memorial Day Queen, and was also the only female to take Auto Shop in high school. Susan was later married to Howard Leroy Arnold on August 23, 1975 in Reno, Nevada. Together they moved to Corcoran, California where they began their family. They later moved to Thayer, Missouri before moving to western Oklahoma settling in Sayre, Oklahoma in 1982 while Howard followed the oilfield. Susan found employment working as a waitress at Simon's Truck Stop and Sonic for several years and later became a dispatcher for the Sayre Police Department. Besides her professional career with the police department she enjoyed helping her daughter raise her children, working in her yard, genealogy, and loved spending time outdoors collecting rocks with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; parents-in-law, Kenneth and Dorothy Arnold; 1 brother-in-law, Kenneth Arnold, II; 2 nephews, Daniel Grammar and Eugene Arnold, Jr.; 1 niece, Elizabeth Arnold; special friend, Vickie Nelson.

Susan is survived by her husband, Howard, of the home; 1 daughter, Tina Kennedy, Burns Flat, OK; bonus daughter, Jennifer Glass, Sayre, OK; 5 grandchildren, Dalton Harrell and wife, Karlee, Katelyn Kennedy, Kade Kennedy, Langston Kennedy, and Graysen Kennedy; brother, Jimmie Banks; sister, Carla Banks; brother-in-law, Eugene Arnold, Sr.; sister-in-law, Betty Arnold; 2 nieces, Tanya McGill and LeeAnn Arnold; 3 great nieces; 1 great nephew; close special friend, Carol Cox and a host of other relatives and friends.
