Nora "Sue" Daniels was born on June 30, 1935 to Herman Clifford and Hazel Jewel (Blankenship) Rippetoe in Elk City, OK. She passed on February 10, 2025 in Carter, OK at the age of 89 years, 7 months, and 11 days.

Sue grew up west of Carter on the River. She attended Carter Schools graduating with the class of 1953. After graduation Sue attended Sayre Junior College. Sue married Richard Wimberly in San Diego, CA and to this union three children were born Brenda, Carl, and Gina. They made their home in Sayre, OK and eventually Wheeler, TX. Sue moved to Clinton, OK were she worked at a drape making factory. She went on to work as a waitress in several cities including the Calumet area and Irving, TX. In 1977 she moved to Irving, TX and married Leon Daniels. In 2005 Leon and Sue moved to Carter where they retired.

Sue loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed watching football and basketball on T.V. and listening to Toby Keith. She also loved her many cats.

She is preceded in death by her parents Herman and Hazel Rippetoe, husband Leon Daniels, and grandson Sheldon Britton.

She is survived by her three children Brenda Britton and husband Nelson of Carter, OK, Carl Wimberly and wife Debbie of Carter, OK, and Gina Britton and husband Mark of Carter, OK; grandchildren Bradley, Hollie, Carl Don, Ryan, Jacob, Trent, Lindsey, Trever, and Brittany; 19 great grandchildren; brother Bill Rippetoe and wife Margaret of Mustang, OK; niece Lisa Martin; nephew Clifford Rippetoe; extended family and a host of friends.
