Shonda Michele Hutson born March 22, 1975 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Jean (Davis) and Harold Hutson. She passed away Tuesday, August 9th, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 47 surrounded by friends and family. Shonda grew up in Elk City, Oklahoma where she attended school and was a part of the graduating class of 1993. After graduation she married Chad and began their family. They were blessed with 3 kids; Cameron, Nikyla, and Jaden. Shonda's focus was her children. She spent her early adulthood as a homemaker and a mother. After her children started school, Shonda started her career in retail which she was very passionate about. Shonda was one that loved her family unconditionally. No matter what she was doing, it always involved her kids, family, and friends. Later in life, Shonda found the love of her life, Shannon. She was truly the happiest when they were together. Shonda enjoyed playing games at Gramm and Gramps every Sunday. One of her greatest accomplishments in life was being promoted to "Nene" when her grandson was born. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ed and Winnie Hutson, Frank and Betty Davis, and two brothers Gregory Hutson and Brett Hutson. Shonda is survived by her loving partner, Shannon Jackson, her 3 children, Cameron Marcum and wife, Brianna, Nikyla Smith and husband, Conner, and Jaden Marcum, all of Elk City, OK; bonus children, Hope Jackson, Lake Wimberly, and Mady Wimberly; 1 grandson, Cohen Smith; her parents, Harold and Jean Hutson; her sister, Brandi Hutson and husband, Tye; sister in law, Angela Patton and husband Dee all of Elk City, OK and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
