Scotty George Frey was born in Alva, OK on September 13, 1957 to Mitzi Lou (Woods) Frey and George Junior Frey. He passed on August 24, 2024.

He was the "little" brother to two older sisters. He grew up in Carmen, OK where he learned to work on cars and spent time fishing and playing football. He attended NWOSU before moving to Burns Flat and eventually to Elk City where he met and married Carol Gee. They had two children, Heidi and Thomas. He lived in Elk City for 40+ years and worked as an aviation mechanic for most of that time. It was his talent and passion.

Scott is preceded in death by his parents George and Mitzi, his two sisters Susan and Cindy, and his beloved dog Duchess.

He is survived by his daughter Heidi and husband Brandon, his son Thomas and wife Emily, and four grandkids Aden, Adi, Baron, and Cora.

Scott was always trying to help the ones around him in his way (sometimes whether they wanted or not). He could pull just about anything you needed out of his truck (tools, spare parts, drinks, snacks, you name it). And if he didn't't have it, he'd go find it.

He never asked for much and sure didn't like accepting help. He could be uncompromising and stubborn. He could be gruff and grouchy. But he was also highly protective of those he loved, especially his kids and grandkids. He was caring and supportive and would give you the shirt off his back. (It's ok, he probably had a spare in his truck).

He was different things to many people. To us, he was a loving dad and a proud papa and he will be missed.
