Scott Ace Cloyd was born on February 9, 1969 to Eddie Jay and Barbara Lenora (Wood) Cloyd in Sayre, OK. He passed on July 8, 2026 in Burns Flat, OK at the age of 57 years, 4 months, and 29 days.

Scott grew up in Sayre, OK along with his four brothers Steven, Mike, Ed, and Danny. He attended Sayre schools and graduated with the class of 1987. On July 11, 1987, he met the love of his life Stacie Wilson. They began their life together along with their two children Jennifer and Alexis. They made their home in Burns Flat, OK were he resided until his death. In 1987, Scott began working Jainsville Products in Burns Flat in the assembly line. After they closed in 1989, he began working for Frank's Tong Service. He worked for Frank's Tong Service for over 20 years, working his way from operator to sales division. In 2020, Scott began working at Express Services as a salesman. In 2023, he began his career as an over the road truck driver.

In his spare time loved the outdoors which included fishing, working on cars, and swimming which he taught all his kids and grandkids how to do. He was not known for his love of animals until his cats showed up all named after the Osbourne family Ozzy, Sheron, Jack and Kelly. They became his fur babies and he always had a funny story to tell when people saw the cats in the driveway. Scott loved to travel with his family. He was also a writer and wrote many poems. Scott was an overall family man. He was always just a phone call away for help and he never turned down the opportunity to help and not just for his family but for his community as well. His dedication and love for his family will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents Eddie and Barbara Cloyd, daughter Lacey, grandson Atticus Aurelius Myers, and son-in-law Coda Myers.

Scott is survived by his wife of the home Stacie; children Jennifer Hinson and husband Dwayne of Elk City, OK and Alexis Cloyd of Burns Flat, OK; five grandchildren Lacey, Saige, Salem, Attalyne, Remington; four brothers Steven Cloyd, Mike Cloyd and wife Tammy of Niceville, FL, Ed Cloyd Jr., of Elk City, OK, and Danny Cloyd and wife Mandy of Canute, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
