Ro grew up in Elk City and graduated from Elk City High School in 1972 where she remained an avid Elk City Alumni Supporter. Ro's jr. high sweetheart was Phillip Beck. They started dating at age 13 and later married on January 8, 1973 in Elk City, Oklahoma. This year they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Ro enjoyed traveling and spending time outside in her swimming pool. Her most treasured time was that spent with her family and her friends on patio nights.

She is preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her husband, Phillip of their Elk City home; 2 sons, Heath Beck and wife, Laura, Dripping Springs, TX, Luke Beck and wife, Raven of Broken Arrow, Ok; 3 grandsons, Ethan, Cameron, and Parker; her mother, Barbara Dishman, Elk City, OK; 1 sister, Judy Musgrave and husband, Ronald Lynn; fur babies, Remmy and Bailey along with a host of family and friends.

Ro loved animals of all kinds and fostered for the local shelter WAR. The family requests memorials be made to WAR (Western Oklahoma Animal Rescue) or to St. Jude, Tunnel to Towers.

Private family memorial services are being held at a later date.
