Ronald Leah Baker was born March 23rd, 1947 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Ella Marguerite (Beavin) and Henry Wilbur Baker. He passed away Friday, December 9th, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 75 years, 8 months and 16 days.

Ronald, known by many as "Ronnie", grew up in Beaver, Oklahoma where he attended and graduated high school in 1965. After graduation he attended college where he earned his bachelors degree in education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He taught school for a couple of years before he began his career in the oil field. Ronnie was a mud engineer for over 40 years which took him from Beaver, Oklahoma to Crawford, OK, and Canadian, Texas before he made his home in Durham, Oklahoma. He was married to Margie Ruth (Hallmark) on December 15th, 1986 in Phoenix, Arizona. Together they made Durham their home where they built a homestead where all of their children were raised. When not working, Ronnie enjoyed arrowhead hunting, fishing, hunting birds and deer, going to gun shows, tending his cattle, gardening and spending time with his family and friends. He was also a member of the Durham Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, James Henry Baker; one son, Brandon Baker; and one granddaughter, Ashton Trescott.

Ronnie is survived by his wife, Margie, of the home; 6 children, Leah Baker, Milwaukie, OR, Summer Baker, Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Sarah Brown, Wink, TX, Sarina Williamson, Clinton, OK, Ronald Henry Baker and wife, Brittani, Durham, OK, and Shannon Baker, Reydon, OK; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Janice Vincent, Weatherford, OK and a host of other relatives and friends.
