Richmond Robinson, Jr. was born January 19th, 1934 in Rocky, Oklahoma to Velma L. (Skelly) and Richmond Hobison Robinson, Sr. He passed away In Edmond, Oklahoma on Monday, June 9th, 2025 at the age of 91 years, 4 months and 21 days.

Richmond, known by most as "Bud", grew up in Rocky, Oklahoma where he attended and graduated from High School. After graduation he furthered his education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Oklahoma A&M, and Panhandle State. He returned to western Oklahoma where he helped his father on the family farm. In 1955 he was married to the love of his life, Ina Joyce (Foster) in Wheeler, Texas on July 15th. They made their home at Retrop, Oklahoma where they raised their family. Bud, after their marriage, was drafted by the United States Army and served his two years stateside. He returned home to Retrop where he provided for his family by farming and owned his own storage building business. Bud never formally retired, but enjoyed traveling with Ina Joyce, playing pool, fishing, and spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his parents-in-law, Allen and Grace Foster; and 1 sister, Dolores Lewis.

Bud is survived by his wife, Ina Joyce, of the home; 2 children, Kathy Wood and husband, Buddy, and Kent Robinson and wife, Rita, both of Elk City, OK; 2 grandchildren, Denton Wood and wife, Joanna, Elk City, OK and Brooke Adams and husband, Paul, Edmond, OK; 3 great grandchildren, Blake Wood, Lincoln Adams, and Grace Adams and a host of other relatives and friends.
