Richard Silva was born on August 8, 1985 to David Garza and Sarita Silva in Little Field, TX. Richard passed on August 18, 2025 at the age of 40 years and 10 days.

He started his life in Weslaco, TX before moving to Clinton, OK in 1993. He was the oldest of three children. He attended Clinton Public Schools. After school, he started his musical career as a DJ. His DJ name was Rook, and he traveled all over Oklahoma and Texas for his work.

Richard was a fun loving person that always had everyone smiling. He loved to sing and make music. Richard loved his family and they meant everything to him.

He is preceded in death by his mother Sarita Hernandez, grandfather Jose Silva, and an aunt Melinda Silva Salas.

Richard is survived by his children Jacob Belknap, Maxton Silva, Eden Silva all of Oklahoma City, OK; brother Jonathan Borjas and wife Krystal of Newalla, OK; sister Sarah Cedillo and husband Mario of Oklahoma City, OK; grandma Sara Silva of Elk City, OK; aunts Pat Trout and husband Wayne of Dallas, TX, Celia Silva Lopez and husband Victor of Vacaville, CA, Grace Silva of Elk City,OK, and Estella Silva of Weslaco, TX; cousins Christina Diaz and husband Johnny of Kansas, Jackie Diaz of Yukon, OK, Joseph Diaz of Elk City, OK, Crystal Diaz and husband Shawn of Clinton, OK; Amy DeLaPena of Elk City, OK many nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
