Rhonda Ann Vaught was born August 29th, 1952 in Anadarko, Oklahoma to Wanda Mae (Kuykendall) and Thurman Junior McSperitt. She passed away Wednesday, February 15th, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 70 years, 5 months and 17 days.

Rhonda grew up in Carnegie, Oklahoma as a small girl. She moved with her family as a young girl to Sayre, Oklahoma in 1959, and she attended Sayre Schools. She was married to Otis White in 1969 and they moved to Oceanside, California where Otis was stationed. They returned to Sayre in 1971 to make their home and raised their family. After Otis passed away in 1983, Rhonda found employment at Sayre Schools where she worked in the cafeteria, drove a school bus, was a teachers aid, and also served as a secretary. She later met Larry Vaught and they were married on March 16th, 1995. They made their home in Sayre until 1997 when they moved to Carnegie where together they owned and operated Vaught's Landing. There was no mistake Rhonda was "The Boss". In 2000 they moved south of Canute to make their home. Rhonda enjoyed gardening, cooking, going to grandkids ball games, going to casino's, going to movies, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband; infant brother, Randy McSperitt and one sister, Tonya McSperitt.

Rhonda is survived by her husband, Larry, of the home; 2 daughters, Shonda Carter and husband, Kirby, Sayre, OK, and Annie Hooper, Canute, OK; 2 bonus children, Chris Vaught and Shelly Thrasher and husband, Steven and their children; 5 grandchildren, Emily Louis and husband, Justin, Sayre, OK, Eli Carter, Sayre, OK, Cy Lucus, Alva, OK, Maggie Hooper, Altus, OK, Kensi Hooper, Mt. View, OK; 3 great grandchildren, Zeke Curtis, Paeten Louis, and Hayden Louis; 1 brother, Greg McSperitt, Burns Flat, OK; Yvonne Attebery, Elk City, OK, and Lorri Hudson, Sayre, OK and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
