Charles Ray Falen was born September 17th,1956 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Eunice Josephine (Pace) and Melvin Heston Falen. He passed away March 16th, 2023, at the age of 66 years.
Ray was raised in Elk City and Mountain Park, Oklahoma where he graduated at Mountain Park High School in 1974. On February 21st, 1975, he married his high school sweetheart, Terry Lynn Hamilton. Together they made their home in Elk City. From 1974 to 1989, he worked for Parker Drilling and Quarles Drilling as a roughneck, a tool pusher and ended his time with them as a drilling superintendent. They moved to Yukon, Oklahoma in 1989, where he and Terry remained until present, while Ray worked as an independent drilling consultant since 1998. Ray enjoyed his Monday round of golf with the boys, watching his grandson's sporting events, fishing, watching OSU (Go Pokes) and OKC Thunder games and spending time at the lake with friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; infant son Austin; and a brother Donnie Falen.
Ray is survived by his wife Terry of the home; daughter Rayna Stewart and husband Jason of Edmond, OK, and grandsons Cooper and Camden. He is also survived by brothers Doug Falen and wife Toni of Elk City, OK and Jimmy Falen, of Clarkson, Kentucky, twin sister Kaye Stanley and husband Kenneth, of Midwest City, OK and sister Melba Wininger and husband Bob, of Richardson, TX, several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
