Randy Lee Parman was born on May 28, 1953 in Sayre, OK to Erwin Lee "Red" and Neva Dean (Higgins) Parman. He passed on August 15, 2025 at the age of 72 years, 2 months, and 18 days.

Randy grew up in Dempsey, OK. He was the oldest of four children. He attended Reydon Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1972. After high school, Randy attended Sayre Junior College for a short time. He worked for JT Richardson hauling water. After working for JT Richardson, he started working as a custom harvester. He traveled to many states harvesting wheat and milo. He also spent many years working at T Boone Pickens Ranch near Sweetwater, OK. On March 3, 1984, Randy married Denise Teague at the Reydon First Baptist Church. They made their home in the Dempsey area. After marrying Denise, Randy began working for Farmers Supply. He worked for Farmers Supply for 15 years. Around 1998 he started working part time as a rural route assistant (RCA) for the Sayre United States Post Office. Randy became a regular rural carrier and held several positions for many years at the district and state level for the Oklahoma Rural Letter Carrier. Randy retired in 2023 after 25 years of service for the United States Postal Service.

Randy was baptized at the Cheyenne Church of Christ. He was baptized also in the Reydon First Baptist Church. He was an active member of the Reydon First Baptist Church and served as a deacon since 2009. For several years, Randy and Denise did Truck Stop Ministry at the truck stop in Sayre. In 1993, Randy started taking the kids to Falls Creek Baptist Camp. He was proud to say, he could still make the trip right after he had open heart surgery in 2020. He also drove the kids to junior camp and Falls Creek and served as a sponsor for 30 years. He started attending Celebrate Recovery in 2014 and because of his devotion in helping others, he became a leader and minister for the Celebrate Recovery Inside the Northfork Correctional Facility in 2017. He proudly helped those in need for six years and had three groups graduate from the program. Randy enjoyed the outdoors. He liked to fish, hunt, reload ammunition, and collect guns. He will be greatly missed by all his friends and family.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents Red and Neva Parman, sister-in-law Diana Standiford, and stepfather Sylvester Churchill

He is survived wife of the home Denise Parman; three sisters Marveda Parman of Cheyenne, OK, Kathy Tidwell and husband Buster of Cheyenne, OK, and Dayna Coker and husband Dewayne of Reydon, OK; sister-in-law Deborah Cowan of Perryton, TX; step sisters Ann Peetoom and husband Bill of Shattuck, OK and Cathy Canary and husband Linn of Oklahoma City, OK; three nephews Joshua Randall of Marquez, TX; Brian Coker and wife Lindsay of Texola, OK, and Andrew Tidwell and wife Brittany of Edmond, OK; two nieces Kassie Meador and husband Brent of Elk City, OK, and Julia Beene of Newcastle, OK; many great nieces and nephews, extended family and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Dempsey Cemetery or Falls Creek Church Camp.
