Ramona Gail Robinson was born November 11th, 1959 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Alice Katherine (Weis) and Bennie Farris Carnes. She passed away Monday, October 10th, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 62 years, 10 months and 29 days.

Ramona grew up on the family farm in Sayre, Oklahoma where she had many adventures with her siblings. She graduated from Sayre High School in 1978. After graduation, she attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University where she obtained her bachelors degree in accounting during the 1982-1983 school years. Upon receiving her degree she found employment at Bob Newcomb accounting firm in Elk City. In 1986 she was married to Mick Robinson in Wheeler, Texas on April 18th, 1986. They moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where they began their family with the birth of Marlee. In 1990 they moved to West Plains, Missouri where their family grew with the birth of Joshua. Ramona was a stay-at-home mother and a substitute teacher when her children began school. After settling in Hannibal, Missouri she entered the automobile industry on the financial side. She remained with Tom Boland Ford where she was employed for over 20 years. Ramona served on the church board with the First United Methodist Church in Hannibal, Missouri. No matter where Ramona was she remained active in the Methodist Church. She also enjoyed hiking, reading, going on ghost tours, traveling within the United States, and spending time with her family and especially her grandson.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Bennie Kay Carter.

Ramona is survived by her children, Marlee Robinson, Yukon, OK, Joshua Robinson and wife, Michelle, St. Louis, MO, Michael Robinson and wife, Lindsey, Elk City, OK and Rachael Newell and husband, Jesse, Sweetwater, OK; 5 grandchildren, Gavin Schwartz, Nora Robinson, Michael Robinson, Clarke Robinson, Conner Crabb, Paige Newell, and Wade Newell; siblings, Marilyn Murphy and husband, Lomax, Stanley Carnes and wife, Guyla, Robbie Carnes and wife, Lisa, and Tina Crabb and husband, Joe; her beloved dog, Puppy and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 15th, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Sayre United Methodist Church officiated by Gabe Cavazos. Arrangements are under the direction of Chris Whinery and the staff of Affordable Cremation Service-West. Condolences can be made online at www.classicfunerals.com
