Paul Luna Moon was born January 16th, 1945 in Paducah, Texas to Mary (Solis) and Lewis Luna. He passed away at his home in Elk City, Oklahoma on Wednesday, May 10th, 2023 at the age of 78 years, 3 months and 24 days.

Paul, known by most at TaTa", grew up in Puducah, Texas where he attended school. He traveled with his parents harvesting oranges. As a teenager he settled with his family in Shamrock, Texas and began his career in his auto body repair and painting. He met and was married to Maria (Garcia) in Pampa, Texas on December 30th, 1963. After their marriage they lived in Shamrock, Texas where Paul continued his career in the auto body repair and painting. Together they raised their family in the Shamrock area where for the better part of 40 years continued his love of fixing and painting cars. TaTa was a fine example of a father and enjoyed nothing more than fishing and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 sons, Robert and Gilbert Luna; 2 brothers, Lewis Luna, Jr. and Robert Moon; 2 sisters, Mary Garza and Rachel Alvarado.

TaTa is survived by his wife, Maria, of the home; 8 children, Paul Luna, Jr., Sandy Cadenas, Lewis Gutierrez, James Luna, Lisa Luna, Robert Luna, Jessica Luna, and Rosemary Luna; 20 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
