Patricia Marie Cauthron was born December 12th, 1953 in Atlanta, Georgia to Helen Ruth (Certain) and Joseph Anthony Russo. She passed away Friday, October 13th, 2023 at her home near Carter, Oklahoma at the age of 69 years, 10 months and 1 day.

Patricia, known by most as "Patty", grew up in southern California where she attended school in Anaheim, California. She graduated in 1972 and found employment as a waitress and also preformed bookkeeping duties to provide for her and her family. Patty later met and was married to Jim Cauthron on September 29th, 1984 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They made their home in California for a few years before moving to western Oklahoma. Together they owned and operated their own semi and drove all over the United States carrying freight. In 2020 she began working at Great Plains Regional Medical Center and still kept up with Jim in dispatching and securing his semi loads. She retired in early 2022 and enjoyed traveling to beaches, watching the Hallmark channel, striking up conversations with strangers and spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Patty is survived by her husband, Jim, of the home; 3 children, Bill Gerhold, Chris Gerhold, and Nikki Gerhold; 3 grandchildren, Kobe Gerhold, Aiden Gerhold, and Gia Gerhold; 5 siblings, Cheri Russo, Linda Russo, Lenny Russo, Joey Russo, and Paul Russo and a host of other relatives and friends.
