Patricia Ann Tressia "Pat" Rafferty was born on November 21, 1950 to James and Marie (Heffron) Mellon in Phillidelphia, Penn. She passed on April 24, 2025 in Elk City, OK at the age of 74 years, 5 months, and 3 days.

Pat grew up in Phillidelphia along with her twin brothers Jim and Terry. She attended West Catholic Preparatory High School and graduated in 1968. After high school, she worked as a candy stripe nurse. On January 6, 1979, Pat and Michael Rafferty were married by Father Vance at the St. Barnabas Parish in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. To this union, three children were born Michael, Christina, and Daniel. They made their home Folcroft, Penn. In 1985, Michael and Pat moved to Sayre, OK. Pat was a homemaker where she spent her time taking care of her family.

Pat was an avid movie watcher and she liked to watch all the old classics such as Gone With the Wind. She also loved to watch the Golden Girls on TV. Pat could always be found reading her Bible and she made sure everyone knew God was first on her list.

She was preceded in death by her parents James and Marie Mellon.

She is survived by her husband Michael Rafferty of the home; three children Michael Buckley of Prospect Park, Pennsylvania, Christina Hickman and husband Jason of Pennsylvania, and Daniel Rafferty of Elk City, OK.; 4 grandchildren Giavonna, Jack, Collin, and C.J.; two brothers Jim Mellon and wife Betsy of Kennett Square, Penn and Terry Mellon and wife Debbie of Downingtown, Penn; many nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
