Patricia Marie "Pat" Sanders was born on April 12th, 1940 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Mose Wilson and Marie (Evans) Wilson. She passed away at her home in Elk City on Thursday, May 8th, 2025 at the age of 85 years and 26 days.

Pat attended Highway School for eleven years until their consolidation and graduated from Port School. After graduation she married Jim Sanders on November 25th, 1958. Pat was a stay at home mom to her two children, Lyndel and Lynette. They followed Jim's construction work until 1972 at which time they moved to Elk City, Oklahoma. Pat and Jim owned and operated mom & pop style restaurant's until their retirement. She also loved caring for Jim and her family, she never missed the college March Madness and loved watching college softball, but most will recognize her for her famous coconut cream pie.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim; brother, Keith Wilson; and one nephew, Jeremy Wilson.

Pat is survived by her 2 children, Lyndel Sanders and wife, Cindy, Sentinel, OK, and Lynette Alford, Elk City, OK; 4 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Steve Wilson and wife, Brenda; 1 sister-in-law, Debbie Wilson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
