Elnora (Nora Beth) Taylor was born to Everett (Red) and Shirley (Sheely) Dye on January 29th, 1954 in Tulsa, OK.

She has one brother Bobby Dye of Elk City, OK, two sisters Shirley Marceleno and Betty (Carlos) Trujillo of Elk City, OK. From her first marriage, two children were born Marsha Louann (Hall) Carey and Jeff Dewayne Hall of Sayre, OK.

Nora married Roy Benjamin Taylor on February 10, 2004. From this union she received four bonus children Roy Taylor Jr. of Shawnee, Calvin Taylor (Mary) of Porter, OK, Ruth Taylor McGehee (Wes) of Blanchard, OK and Paul Taylor (Desiree) of Pocassett, OK; seven grandchildren Michael (Deja) Fritts, William Fritts, Chloe Fritts, Nicholas Huffine, Lucas Huffine, Alyson Taylor, and Bailey McGehee; four nieces and two nephews and a host of friends.

Nora has done some amazing things over the years which include custom harvesting, driving semis cross country, and working in law enforcement for 10 years for the city of Sayre. She also spent several years in Home Health Care before becoming disabled in 2008.

Nora's first love was Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior. It brought her joy and happiness to spend time with family, friends and loved ones. Her grandchildren were very special to her as well as her church family.

Nora was preceded in death by her husband Roy Taylor, parents Everett and Shirley Dye, and daughter Marsha Carey.
