Nancy Sue Henson Bottom was born May 6, 1938, to Millard and Luda (Brundridge) Henson in Buffalo, Missouri. She passed from this life December 28, 2023 at Oklahoma City Heart Hospital at the age of 85.

She graduated from Buffalo High School in 1955. She married Clyde Bottom, Jr. in Hammon, Oklahoma on March 16, 1967. To this union was born one son, Brad Bottom. Nancy and Clyde ran their feed business, Tri-County Feed, for many years. They also farmed and raised cattle and horses. She learned to ride a horse, work cattle, drive a tractor, chop cotton, and throw sprigs on the trailer during those early years of marriage. In 1992, she opened The Bottom Line embroidery business and operated it along with Brad and Kara Bottom. She retired in 2020. Nancy enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the kids coming to the barn, flowers, and being a long time member of the Strong City Baptist Church and serving in any capacity, and loved her church immensely.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Claudia Cantu, and her husband, Clyde Bottom, Jr.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Lori (Stephens) Barnett and husband, Allan; son, Brad Bottom and wife, Kara; one step-daughter, Tena (Bottom) Drinnon and husband, Larry; grandchildren, Tyler VanMeter and wife, Connie, Jaci Hickey and husband, Travis, Clint Alford and wife, Katelyn, Sydney Bottom, Sealey Bottom; great grandchildren, Destry and Draper VanMeter, Rico and Havana Hickey, Tatum Alford and many other family and friends.
