Monnett Denise Taylor, 71, of Elk City, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025 in Elk City.

She was born on January 4, 1954, in Guymon, Oklahoma, to the loving parents Silva and Helen (Miller) Gwartney.

Monnett was known by her family and friends for her free spirited personality and her love, passion, and devotion in social services for residential care homes.

Her final message to her beloved family and friends is

"See you on the flip side and to bring a movie".

Proceeded in death by her parents, Silva and Helen; great grandchildren: Faith Piercy and Alistair Taylor; nephew: Jeremy Sandavol.

She is survived by her two sons, Kenneth Lynn Taylor, Jr and wife Scherrie of Woodward and Kevin James McElveney and wife Melena of Elk City; one granddaughter Raynie McElveney; eight grandsons: Tre (Veronica) McElveney, Dillan (Carrie) McElveney, Keegan McElveney, MaCain McGlone, Dakota Piercy, Kenny Taylor, Phillip (Elle) Taylor and Gage Gile; eleven great-grandchildren: Cason, Paiton, Preslee, Preston and Paxton Piercy, Kaiden and Rowan Taylor, Atiana Williamson, Pandora, Lillian and Kira McElveney; one sister: Marsha (Don) Heath and nephew, Nathan Sandavol, other extended family and special friends.
