Michael Andrew Edlund Sr. was born February 21st, 1946 in Somerville, Tennessee to Margaret Elsie (McKnight) and Jerome Christian Edlund. He passed away November 26th, 2022 in Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years, 9 months and 7 days.

Mike grew up in Burrowtown, Tennessee and attended Somerville High School graduating in 1965. After graduation he furthered his education at Freed Hardeman University. In 1967 he was drafted into the United States Army where he served as military police in Vietnam. After his discharge in 1969 he returned to the workforce where he found employment with Chrysler though the United Autoworkers Union where he remained for 35 years. It was during this time he was married to Belinda Jean (King) in Somerville, Tennessee in 1970. Together they made their home in Fayette County where they raised their family. In 2006, Mike retired and spent his time finding odd jobs, nature, history, and spending time with his family and friends.

He preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Michael Edlund, Jr.; daughter, Kimberly Qualls; grandson, Melvin Qualls; 2 brothers, Jerry and Kenneth Edlund.

Mike is survived by his daughter, Cindy White and Dane White, Sayre, OK; 4 grandchildren, Christian White, Hannah Edlund, Chase White, and Lindsey White; 1 great grandson, Ivan; 4 sisters, Margaret Ann, Nancy, Penny Sue, and Tammy; 1 brother, Jim Guy and a host of other relatives and friends.
