Mary Janette Shaver was born on March 16th, 1935 in Gould, Oklahoma to Ila Mindy (Jones) Anderson and Walter Thomas Anderson. She passed away in Sayre, Oklahoma on Saturday, May 14th, 2022 at the age of 87 years, 1 month and 28 days. Mary grew up and attended school in Gould, Oklahoma. She married Jim Shaver in 1991 in Wellington, Texas. Mary held many jobs as a waitress, but her most recent was working in Medical Records at Bell Avenue Nursing Home in Elk City. She raised her family in Erick, Oklahoma living there for over 20 years until her declining health caused her to move to Sayre, Oklahoma to be closer to her family so they could assist her. Mary loved her family and spent all her spare time enjoying their company. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim Shaver; son, Denzil Wayne Lewis; daughter, Terri Lynn Miranda; and sister, Brenda Anderson. Mary is survived by her daughter, Sherri Trevathan, Sayre, Ok; 2 sons, Tommy Husband, Dewar, OK, and Mark Dorris, Wheeler, TX; 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Shirley Lammers, Las Vegas, NV; 1 brother, Jim Anderson, Hollis, OK, and a host of other family and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Services are under the direction of Chris Whinery and the staff of Affordable Cremation Service-West.
