Mary Elberta McCall, a faithful, loving servant of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ left this earth and into his arms on Wednesday, April 23rd at the age of 91. Mary was a Godly example and leader to all those who knew her. She leaves a legacy that will always be remembered by her family, friends and the many lives she touched throughout her years.

Born on February 19, 1934 to Joseph Stanley Cregeen and Naomi Ferne (Graham) Cregeen in Diagonal, Iowa. She grew up in this small town with her 3 brothers and 1 sister and created many cherished memories. Mary went on to attend beauty school in Des Moines, Iowa and then became a beautician.

During her days in beauty school Mary met the love of her life Joseph Robert McCall. They married September 11, 1961 and remained steadfast partners until his passing on May 29, 2023. Together they built a home on faith, family and dedication. Together Joe and Mary pastored several churches, operated soup kitchens and shared their faith with those in their communities. They were a loving couple and made great partners in life, leaving a great example and legacy to their family, friends and those who knew them.

Mary loved baking, cooking, sewing and helping others. She always showed up for her family! She had the sweetest smile and spirit and those who knew her loved her. She was sweet but sassy and even in her last days made others laugh and smile with her wit. If she knew you, she loved you and you could count on being on her prayer list. She loved teaching ladies bible studies, leading music in her church, teaching Sunday School, organizing church pot lucks and feeding those in need.

Preceded in death by her husband Joseph Robert McCall, parents Joseph Stanley and Naomi Ferne Cregeen, brothers, Richard Cregeen and Roland Cregeen, sister Elsie Creveling and son Robert Jones.

Left to honor Mary's loving memory are her daughters, Dolores (John) Birkinsha of Joplin, Missouri and Zelda (Tim) Sullivan of Altus, Ok. Brother, Dale Cregeen and Grandchildren, Heather Birkinsha of Joplin, Missouri, John (Angie) Birkinsha Jr of Joplin, Rebecca Birkinsha of Joplin, Sara (Garrett) DEntremont of Austin, TX and Shelby (Cody) Strobel of Canute, OK and a bonus daughter Debbie (Mike) Canby of Hobart, OK and numerous great grandchildren and great great grand children.
