Mary Dean Blevins was born February 10th, 1947 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Edith Emma (Thornton) and Orval Leslie Marriott. She passed away at her home in Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 78 years, 4 months and 19 days.

Mary grew up in Sayre where she attended school graduating in 1965. After graduation, she furthered her education at Sayre Junior College and also worked at Sayre Memorial Hospital. In November of 1967 she was married to R.D. Armstrong and together they started their family with the birth of Kelly in 1968. Later they added Kathy in 1971 and completed their family with the birth of Krissi in 1978. The family moved to various towns and cities following R.D.'s employment settling back in Sayre in 1980. It was during this time that Mary held a job at Northfork Electric Coop before starting her banking career for several years. After her marriage dissolved, she was later married to Steven Blevins in Sayre, Oklahoma on September 28th, 1985. In 2007 she began at the Beckham County courthouse and served in the court clerks office until her retirement in 2012. That same year they moved to Elk City to spend her retirement years. Mary enjoyed crafts, gardening, and playing games but her favorite past time was spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

She is preceded by her parents and one sister, Dorothy Gish.

Mary is survived by her husband, Steve, of the home; 3 daughters, Kelly Leitner, Elk City, OK, Kathy Plummer and husband, Greg, Cordell, OK, and Krissi Twyman and husband, Justin, Elk City, OK; 5 grandchildren, Taylor Proctor and wife, Andrea, Kevin Proctor and wife, Kelsey, Bradley Hunt and fiance`, Justine, Kooper Twyman, and Keaton Twyman; 8 great grandchildren, Adilee Hunt, Ava Hunt, Tristan Proctor, Gabriel Proctor, Theodore Proctor, Samuel Proctor, Keith Proctor, and Kasper Proctor; 3 sisters, Tressa Horn, Donna Donaldson, and Sally Sites and a host of other relatives and friends.
