Mary Alice Beloat was born November 22nd, 1938 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Nettie (James) and Thomas D. Herzer. She passed away at her home in Burns Flat, Oklahoma Monday, May 1st, 2023 at the age of 84 years, 5 months and 9 days.

Mary grew up in Sapulpa, Oklahoma where she attended school. During her senior year, she was married to Robert Dale Beloat, Sr. on October 25th, 1956. After their marriage they moved to Farmington, New Mexico where their family continued to grow. Mary followed Bob where his employment took them. The family ended up moving from New Mexico to Arizona, Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma where they settled in Burns Flat. Throughout her life, Mary worked as a bank teller, substitute teacher, briefly worked in a candy store, owned and operated the Cordell Package Store. Mary wore many hats throughout her life, but always considered being a homemaker her main priority in life. She also enjoyed knitting and writing in her journals.

She is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Joseph Beloat; 6 brothers; and 1 sister.

Mary is survived by her husband of 66 years, Bob, of the home; 4 children, Cheryl Hare and husband, Bruce, Bloomfield, NM, Rob Beloat and wife, Sheila, Mounds, OK, Kay Bass, Burns Flat, OK, and Ray Beloat and wife, Alanna, Arapaho, OK; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Glenna Herzer; nephew, Bradley Herzer; niece, Tracy Wells; niece, Claudia Postlewaite and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held Monday, May 8th, 2023 at the H.O.S.T. Ministries at 10:00 A.M. officiated by Wilma Jackson. Arrangements are under the direction of Chris Whinery and the staff of Affordable Cremation Service-West. Condolences can be made online at www.classicfunerals.com.
