Marsha Ann Luttmer was born December 31st, 1953 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Adella Lena (Marik) and Hubert Kephart. She passed away at her home in Elk City, Oklahoma on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023 at the age of 69 years, 11 months and 2 days.

Marsha grew up in Canute, Butler, and Hammon and attended Canute High School graduating in 1972. After graduation she began her family while she attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University where she received her bachelors degree in Education. She began her teaching career in Clinton, Oklahoma and also Hammon, Oklahoma where she was the director of the Boys and Girls Club. The majority of her teaching career was spent at Canute Public Schools where she taught primarily 5th grade and music. Marsha continued teaching until 2021 when she retired from full time teaching. Marsha always enjoyed her Native American heritage and spending time with her friends, but her passion in life was cooking for friends and family, spending time with her grandchildren and fellowship with her Sunday School Class.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gene Kephart and one infant sister, Loretta Kephart.

Marsha is survived by her husband, James, of the home; 3 children, Sheila Sutton and husband, Justin, Elk City, OK, Stephanie Pitzer and fiance`, Rocky Driskill, Yukon, OK, and Lance Pitzer and wife, Hollie, Canute, OK; 4 grandchildren, Brooke Sutton, Kaylie Pitzer, Brance Pitzer, and Macy McSparrin; 1 brother, Dean Kephart and wife, Cissy, Canute, OK; 3 nieces, Jenny Kephart, Amber Visnieski, and Heather Kephart and a host of other relatives and friends.
