Mark Russell Forester was born December 16th, 1980 in Shamrock, Texas to Janet Mae (Payne) and Ronnie Russell Forester. He passed away Sunday, July 10th, 2022 near Elk City, OK at the age of 41 years, 6 months and 24 days. Mark grew up in the Elk City area attending schools in Elk City and Amarillo, Texas. After his schooling he obtained employment and always worked and held a job. He had many mentors throughout his younger years because of his work ethic. He eventually obtained his certifications for his passion of being a diesel mechanic. Besides having a strong work ethic, Mark loved his three sons and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with them. In what little spare time Mark had, he enjoyed watching wrestling, MMA fighting, boxing and spending time with other family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his father; both sets of grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles. Mark is survived by his 3 sons, Christopher, Ryan, and Michael Forester, all of Elk City, OK; his mother, Janet Mitchener; sister, Shelley Oden and husband, Michael, Elgin, OK; brother, Ronnie Forester and wife, Jamie, Elk City, OK; his companion, Shanda Snyder, Elk City, OK; the mother of his children, Codie Forester, Elk City, OK and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, a nephew, other relatives and friends. A public viewing will be held Thursday, July 14th, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Affordable Cremation Service-West.
