Marjorie Jean Hennigh was born on March 4, 1932 to Charles and Estella (Couch) McKee in Laverne, OK. She passed away on February 6, 2026 at the age of 93 years, 11 months, 2 days.

Marjorie attended her first four years of school at a little country school, Union Center, in Spearmore, OK. She later attended Laverne Schools, where she graduated with the class of 1949. During that time, she worked at the local movie theater, where she met her soon-to-be husband, Duane.

On July 31, 1949, in Canadian, Texas, Marjorie married Duane Hennigh. Together they raised four children: Eric, Alan, Teresa, and Susan. The family made their home in Laverne, Oklahoma until 1973, when they moved to Sayre, Oklahoma, where Marjorie resided ever since. Marjorie was truly a jack of all trades. When it came to her family, she always found a way to make things happen. She was an extraordinary seamstress, creating clothing not only for her own family but for others as well. In addition to caring for her home and family, it was not uncommon to find her tending to the livestock for Duane when he was away at a rodeo. She loved being the hostess to anyone that came through her doors. Marjorie had a way of making everyone feel loved.

Marjorie dearly loved her family, and her greatest joy was attending the activities and sporting events of her children and grandchildren. Her great grandkids knew her as "Grandma G" and loved that she always had a story to tell them. She was a deeply caring person who consistently put the needs of others before her own and truly had a servant's heart. Known for her quick wit, Marjorie never lost her sharp sense of humor, even at the age of 93.

She is preceded in death by her husband Duane Hennigh, parents Charles and Estella McKee, daughter Susan Hennigh, son Eric Hennigh, and brother JC McKee.

Marjorie is survived by her son Alan Hennigh and wife Cathy of Erick, OK; daughter Teresa Davis and husband Terry of Sayre, OK; grandchildren Jeremy Hennigh and wife Stacy of Edmond, OK, Tara Tignor and husband David of Sayre, OK, Krista Holland and her husband Craig of Sayre, OK, Cayla Thornbrough and husband Dusty of Sayre, OK and Ryan Plummer and wife Brook of Sayre, OK; great grandchildren Payten, Haylie, Delaney, Camden, Ember, Ryder, Sloan, Charlee, Isabelle, Lawson, Ledgen, and Tilly; sister Carol Hoch and husband Don of Augusta, KS; many nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
