Marjean Collins was born October 27th, 1948 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and adopted at birth by May Marie (Goodin) and Wayne M. Spears. She passed away in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Saturday, February 15th, 2025 at the age of 76 years, 3 months and 19 days.

Marjean grew up in Canute, Oklahoma where she attended schools. She graduated in 1966 and remained in the Canute area and briefly attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University. In June of 1973, she was married to Don Collins and together they grew their family including three children: Shannon, Mandy, and Matthew. Throughout her life Marjean was a woman of kindness and strength. She always put others before herself. Marjean's warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love will be cherished in the hearts of those who knew her.

She is also preceded in death by her parents; son, Shannon Collins; and 1 great granddaughter, Eden Collins.

Marjean's greatest joy was her family and she dedicated her life to caring for those she loved. She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Mandy Collins, Yukon, OK; her son, Matthew Collins, Canute, OK; one brother, Fonny Spears and wife, Jana, Foss, OK; 8 grandchildren, Brooke Collins, Kolton Collins, Cole Collins, Spencer Wilhite, Shannah Collins, Jacob McLemore, Tristan McLemore, and Nyah Nightwalker; 6 great grandchildren, Shiloh, Effie, Shannon, Walker, Mallory Jane, and Freyja and a host of other relatives and friends.
