Margie Jo Schreck was born October 7th, 1937 in Hamilton, Texas to Janie Viola (Wagner) and Lewis Ray Webb. She passed away at Great Plains Regional Medical Center in Elk City, Oklahoma on Wednesday, January 29th, 2025 at the age of 87 years, 3 months and 22 days.

Margie spent much of her childhood between Sayre, Oklahoma, Elk City, Oklahoma and Hamilton, Texas. She was later married to David Lee Schreck in Elk City, Oklahoma where they made their home and raised their family. For the majority of her working life, Margie worked as a house cleaner, cleaning over 100 homes in the Elk City area. In 2017 Margie retired from cleaning homes, but not being one to sit still, she continued to iron and press clothing for members of the community. She also enjoyed baking pies, cooking not only for her family, but the entire neighborhood, and playing BINGO.

She is preceded by her parents; husband, David Lee Schreck; 2 sisters, Linda, Barbara; one niece; and one nephew.

Margie is survived by 5 children, Brenda Schreck, Danny Schreck and wife, Wanda, Lynn Schreck, Bryan Schreck, and Andy Schreck. 2 grandchildren, Brandyn and Breanna Schreck; one niece, one nephew and a host of other relatives and friends.
