Lynda Faye Byers-Jones was born November 9, 1947 to H.A. and Nova (Coon) Beard. She passed on February 17, 2025 at the age of 77 years, 3 months, and 9 days.

Lynda grew up and attended grade school in Monahans, TX. She attended high school and graduated in Dumas, TX. Lynda attended nursing school after high school in the Dallas, TX area and obtained her nursing degree. She worked as a pediatric ER nurse at St. Anthonys' in Amarillo, TX. Lynda moved to Oklahoma City and went back to school to earn her degree in child development. After earning her degree in child development, Lynda owned and operated a licensed 24/7 in home daycare. On April 16, 1991, she married Charles "Keith" Jones in Bethany, OK at the Bethany Church of God. Besides owning and operating a daycare, Lynda also had many other careers while operating the daycare such as breeding standard poodles, quilting business, sales rep for Cameo Liquid Embroidery, and selling arts and crafts she created for craft malls. In 2011 Lynda and Keith moved to Elk City, OK and in 2019 they made their home in Hammon, OK.

In her spare time she loved to work in her yard and taking care of her adopted son and grandchildren.

Lynda is preceded in death by her parents H.A. and Nova Beard, sisters Patricia Singleton, Elmeta Kubis, twin brother Lyndon Beard, grandaughter Ashlyn Nicole Byers, and great grandaughter Sally Anne Byers.

She is survived by her husband Keith Jones of Hammon, OK; sons Shannon Byers of Oklahoma City, OK, Blaine Jones of Oklahoma City, OK and Barrett Jones of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren Cody Lane Byers, Barrett Dustin Jones Jr., and Camden Jones; 2 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, extended family, all the children she cared for at her daycare, and a host of friends.
