Obituary

Loretta (Coe) Hall, 77, was born on November 9, 1944 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Van Coe, Sr. and Nanie Lou (Evans) Coe-Sanders. She entered heaven and was divinely healed on June 21, 2022. Loretta met the Lord and was saved at the age of 12 in Carter Methodist Church. She lived in Carter and graduated from Carter High School. She was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. She loved being Ganny to all of her grands and great-grands and wanted each one to know how special they were to her. She enjoyed singing, cooking, sewing, and gardening in her spare time. She spent her life ministering to others through her singing. Because of her love and compassion for other people, she developed many friendships over the years and shared about the Lord with others. She was faithful to carry out that gift up until the time of her death. Loretta was married to Gary Hall on June 1, 1962 and they just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They had 4 children, Shelley, Stephanie, Cary, and Cody. After all her children were in school, she began working at the Carter Bank until 1986, and then became the Beckham County Assessor for 20 years before retiring in December 2006. She was inducted into the Western Oklahoma Hall of Fame. She also did volunteer work at the Pregnancy Care Center, Faith Hospice and served on the Post Adjudication Review Board.
