Lois Jean (Griffin) Piercy was born on July 29, 1953 to Hershal and Edna June (Webb) Griffin in Sayre, OK. She passed on June12, 2025 at the age of 71 years, 10 months, and 14 days.

Lois grew up in Sayre, OK and attended Sayre Public Schools. After high school, she worked at the Sayre Memorial Hospital as a physical therapist for 15 years. She than began working at the Robinson Clinic in pain management. She worked at the clinic for 14 years before going to work at Sage Brush. She worked as an inpatient caretaker for 13 years before she retired.

Lois enjoyed going on road trips with Jeanette Payne Click and camping at the lake. She loved spending time and spoiling her grandkids. When she was younger she loved to cook and would always cook the family holiday meals.

She is preceded in death by her parents Hershal and Edna June Griffin, grandson Dyvonne.

She is survived by her children Dewey Leon Piercy of Sayre, OK, Lorie Hamar and husband Charles of Sayre, OK, and Michael Piercy and wife Terra of Sayre, OK; 9 grandchildren Dakota, Robert and wife Bethany, Gaylon, Dusti, Natalie and husband Clint, Jacie, Brodie, Jack, and Dyvonne; great grandchildren Cason, Paiton, Preslee, Preston, Paxton, Laken, Jaxon, Gentry, Willamae, Elliana, and Colton; best friend Jeanette; sister Verna Griffin and brothers Dale and Gary Griffin; many nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
