Linda Sue Millar was born on February 26, 1946 to Elmer Percy and Ruby Faith (Fields) Crosby in Erick, OK. She passed on April 4, 2025 at the age of 79 years, 1 month, and 8 days.

She grew up in the Hext community. She attended Hext schools until they closed and then attended Sayre school where she graduated in 1964. After high school, she was a stewardess for Trailways. On November 10, 1968, Linda married James Millar in Sayre, OK and to this union 5 children were born Brandi, Jace, Justin, Jody, and Jama. After marrying James, Linda devoted her life to raising and taking care of her family. They made their home in Clinton and then Sayre.

In her spare time, Linda enjoyed taking care of and spoiling her dogs, CeCe and Ammo. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. Linda enjoyed bowling and spent many nights bowling with the league or her family. She enjoyed the outdoors and had a talent for gardening. She also fed the hummingbirds and would spend hours watching them feed. Linda also raised sheep. She was a die hard OU fan, especially OU woman's softball. She also loved to listen to Elvis Presley, and Elvis could always be heard on her radio.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Ruby Crosby, son Jody Millar, and brother Milton Crosby.

She is survived by her husband James Millar of Sayre, OK; children Brandi Reeder and husband Billy of Elk City, OK, Jace Millar and wife Jessica of Sayre, OK, Justin Millar and life partner Audra Lowrance of Sayre, OK, Jama Millar of Sayre, OK; 8 grandchildren Rachel, Hannah, Abbey, Reed, Maverick, Libby, Kiaya, Kambryn; many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
