Linda Faye Griffin passed away on Dec. 31, 2025, in Oklahoma City. Linda was born on February 12, 1949, in La Junta, Co., to Beth and Pat Berryman.

She attended school in Hollis, Okla. She later worked for Sayre, Reydon and Sweetwater Schools and at Great Plains Hospital in Elk City. At one time, she was a beautician and operated her own beauty shop in Reydon. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and arts and crafts. She married Steve Griffin on Sept. 15, 1978, in Cheyenne, and they lived in Sayre, Reydon, Sweetwater and Elk City before returning to Sayre in 2003 to make their home.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, one son, Jeffrey Blain, two brothers, Gary Berryman and James Hiett, and her sister-in-law, Marvella Thomason.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Steve Griffin; two sons, James McDaris of Elk City and Joel McDaris of Tulsa; two sisters, Carolyn McGuire and husband, Danny, of Elk City, and Lorie Bradshaw and husband, Don, of Elk City; one brother, Billy Dale Berryman of Weatherford; three grandchildren, Ty McDaris of Elk City, Makala Cantu and husband, Elijah of Elk City, and Stephen Archuletta and wife, Marin, of Salt Lake City, Utah; seven great-grandchildren, Aubree, Griffin, Lainey, Emmett, Elliott, Rush and Remi; several other sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
