Leo Neal Siebert was born February 11th, 1934, in Felt, Oklahoma, to Bena E. (Karber) and Peter W. Siebert. He passed away Monday, December 19th, 2022, at Elk City, Oklahoma, at the age of 88 years, 10 months and 8 days.

Leo grew up in Felt, Deer Creek, and Blackwell, Oklahoma. He graduated from Blackwell High School in 1952. After graduation he found various places of employment before he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He was first stationed at Biloxi, Mississippi, where he met Lois Frances (Crane), and they were later married on August 3rd, 1956, in Pascagoula, Mississippi. After their marriage they made their home Mississippi, Washington state, Idaho, Wyoming, North Dakota, Georgia, and New Mexico following Leo's career in the Air Force. Leo was also stationed in Korea, Germany and the Philippines during his career. It was during this time that he obtained the rank of E-6 Technical Sergeant, where he was an electronics instructor and technical writer. After his discharge in July of 1975 he obtained his bachelor's degree at the University of Southern Mississippi while he was working in the shipyards in Mississippi. Upon obtaining his degree he found employment at Indian-Meridian Vo-Tech teaching electronics. Leo continued his education at Oklahoma State University, where he obtained his master's degree in Educational Administration. He began teaching at Oklahoma Junior College, where he taught electronics and also computers and also served as the associate academic dean and director of electronics. Leo enjoyed woodworking, reading legal thrillers, playing games, researching genealogy, and spending as much time as possible with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter, Mary Estelle Siebert; and brother, Wilbert Siebert.

Leo is survived by his 5 children, Robert Neal Siebert, Philippines; Diana Jill Siebert, Elk City, OK; Roger Wayne Siebert and wife, Victoria Briseno, Austin, TX; Marsha Elaine Holzer and husband, Gary, Malone, WI; and Peter Jacob Siebert, Sun City Center, FL; 4 grandchildren, Nichole Baker, Brittany Hanson, Kira Mulder, and Kayla Cluck; 8 great grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter on the way and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family has elected to have a celebration of life that will be held at a later date.
