Obituary

Lee Ann Angel was born April 26th, 1963 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Joyce Vernell (Crook) and Charles Woody Todd. She went to be with her Lord and savior in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on September 5th, 2025 at the age of 62 years, 4 months and 10 days surrounded by her loving family.

Lee Ann grew up in Elk City where she attended school graduating in 1981. During her high school years, she was employed at C.R. Anthony's as a sales associate and customer service rep. After graduation she continued with C.R. Anthony's. Lee Ann and Rodney met in 1985, and were married on November 14th, 1987, continuing to call Elk City home. When Anthony's sold to Stage Stores, Lee Ann helped with the transition in western Oklahoma. Working as manager in Clinton, Assistant manager in Weatherford, and Elk City stores. Lee Ann was recruited to the banking industry and held positions at Local Oklahoma Bank and Great Plains Bank. Seeking a change of pace, she worked in oilfield administration for one year. She returned to banking for First National Bank, Elk City and was employed there when she passed. Wherever she worked she made her customers have a better day. That smile of hers brightened their day. Lee Ann enjoyed reading, motorcycle trips, traveling and spending time with her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren, Wyatt and Vivian. She insisted that Wyatt travel on vacations with her and Rodney. The beach was her happy place.

Lee Ann served on Elk City School Board for 2 terms; she served on the Friends of the Library Board and was a lifetime member of the Western Plains Downed Bikers.

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and numerous aunts and uncles.

Lee Ann is survived by her husband, Rodney, of the home; 2 sons, Jeffery Smith and wife, wife Gini, Weatherford, OK, and Hunter Angel, Elk City, OK; 2 grandchildren, Wyatt and Vivian; 1 brother, Danny Todd and wife, Linda, Yukon, OK; cousin, Mary Jane Crook and a host of other relatives and friends.
